The PocDoc Healthy Heart Check can be completed in as little as 10 minutes once you are familiar with the process. If it is your first time, allow a little longer as you follow the step-by-step instructions in the app.
Please note: The 10 minutes does not include the time needed to download the PocDoc app and create your account. We recommend doing this before you are ready to take your test so you can get started straight away.
How long will the whole process take?

Email verification
When you create your PocDoc account you will be sent a verification email. You must click the link in the email to verify your account before you can begin your test.
Important: The verification link expires after 1 hour. If you do not click the link within 1 hour you will need to request a new one. We recommend checking your email immediately after creating your account. For links to download the free PocDoc app click here.
If your verification email does not arrive within a few minutes please check your junk or spam folder.
Before you begin
To get the best possible blood sample, we recommend drinking a large glass of water 20–30 minutes before starting your test. Being well hydrated makes it easier to collect your blood sample.
What's included in the time?
The 10 minutes covers:
- Answering the health questionnaire in the app
- Collecting your finger-prick blood sample
- Placing the sample on the test chip
- The app analysing your results
Your results will be available in the app immediately after the test is complete and will also be sent to you by email as a password-protected PDF.
