How do I download the PocDoc app?

The PocDoc app is free to download and is available for compatible Android and iOS smart devices.

Which app do I need?

The PocDoc Healthy Heart Check is for personal use and requires the PocDoc app — not PocDoc Pro. PocDoc Pro is used exclusively by healthcare professionals testing other people and will not work with a personal test kit. See Which app do I need to install? for more information.

The PocDoc app requires camera access and notifications to be enabled in order to complete a test. We recommend granting both permissions as soon as you install the app. The app does prompt you for these, but the prompt appears at the end of the test flow — by which point it is too late to continue without interruption.

The PocDoc app is available from the Google Play Store for compatible Android smart devices.

Device requirements

The PocDoc app requires Android 11 or higher, or iOS 11 or higher. If your device does not meet these requirements you will not be able to install the app. Check the full list of compatible devices here.

Not in the UK?

At present, the PocDoc app is only available in the United Kingdom. If you are based outside the UK the app will not be available to download in your country.

If you are based in Europe

If you have purchased a PocDoc Healthy Heart Check from a retailer in a European country, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately you will be unable to download the PocDoc app needed to complete the test.

To obtain a refund please contact the retailer you purchased the kit from. We would also appreciate you letting us know by clicking here contact us so we can work to prevent this from happening again.
