How accurate is my test?

Modified on Tue, 2 Jun at 7:17 PM

We know that accurate, quantified results are important to our customers, and we have developed the PocDoc Healthy Heart Check with this in mind.

Clinical performance

The PocDoc Healthy Heart Check has been through a stringent clinical performance evaluation as part of our UK CA medical device registration. We are very confident in the accuracy of the test. It is because of this clinical performance that the PocDoc Healthy Heart Check is being adopted in multiple NHS organisations across the UK.

Why might my results look different when I test again?

It is important to understand that cholesterol levels naturally fluctuate — this is completely normal and is not a sign that something is wrong with your test.

Diet, exercise, stress and time of day can all affect your cholesterol levels, so you should expect to see some variation between tests.
