Why is my test showing as Pending

Modified on Fri, 12 Jun at 6:01 PM

We are not 100% certain what has caused your test to get stuck in a pending state.  So we are wondering if you would be able to check

  1. In your device/phone/tablet main settings - check that your device is set up to allow notifications from the PocDoc app:

iOS (Apple devices) -

  • 1. Open the Settings app.
  • 2. Scroll down and tap Notifications.
  • 3. Find and select PocDoc from the list of apps.
  • 4. Tap the Allow Notifications toggle to switch it on — it will turn green when enabled.

Android devices (Samsung, Google, Motorola devices)-

  • Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  • Navigate to Notifications (or Apps & Notifications, depending on your device).
  • Tap App Notifications.
  • Find and select PocDoc from the list of apps.
  • Toggle notifications on.

2. PocDoc in app notifications - also check that notifications are turned on within the PocDoc app itself:

1. Open the PocDoc app and go to the main dashboard (the main screen).
2. Tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings.
4. Locate the Receive In-App Notifications option and ensure it is enabled.

Please also see the image below for a visual guide of these 2 types of notifications:

3. Please ensure that the focus settings are not on

Not allowing these settings will interfere with the PocDoc App working correctly and can result in the test getting stuck in pending.

Unfortunately, the test will remain in your dashboard showing as pending.
